Dear Reader (and Dear Google),

If you’ve read this far, then you’re awesome. And probably bored. Welcome to Seeking God with Joy – a Christian blog where I hope you’ll find resources to grow in your faith. After exploring – okay, I’m still exploring – questions for God, I’ve learned that the purpose of our lives is seeking God. In seeking God, we’ll find contentment, purpose, and even joy. We’ll also live the hard times, which Christians go through like everyone in this world, knowing we are not alone. We don’t seek Him for His benefits but for Himself. So if you want to know how to have a personal relationship with Jesus (us old Baptists call it “getting saved”), how to grow in your faith, how to ask hard questions of God, and how to listen for the answers, then you’re in the right place.
